These school holidays Karori Library will be hosting a special visit from children's author Kevin Boon who will be reading aloud, talking about his books and about being an author. This will be held on Friday 8th October at 11am. All welcome. We look forward to seeing you there.
Karori Library hosted three interesting talks this July about technology, gardening and antiques, as part of the Living Well series. Thank you to everyone who attended and especially to those who came and spoke.

Karori Library celebrated Matariki (Maori New Year) in June with an afternoon of magical storytelling and activities.
There was a wonderful performance by Karori West School Kapa Haka and children were also invited to display their new year wishes on our special Matariki tree.
Thank you to everybody who came and celebrated Matariki at the library. We wish you all a happy year.
A fun, interactive session for babies (aged 0 to 2 years) and their caregivers. Sessions run every Monday during school term time at 9:45am.

Karori Library hosts a friendly and informal book group for adults. This group meets in the library on the last Thursday of the month from 7-8pm. For further information email Max.
This friendly group of local Chinese residents meet at Karori Library on Friday mornings from 10-11am for discussion about life and current events in New Zealand. All welcome to attend.

Karori Library includes a cafe, Cafe on the Square. You are welcome to bring your food and drink from the cafe (be it a BLT or coffee and cake) through to the library to relax in our comfy armchairs on the ground floor.
